Ayiloor Kudumbashree is the Kudumbashree Community Development Society (CDS) of the Ayiloor Grama Panchayat, located in the Chittur Taluk of Palakkad district. It operates as part of the Kudumbashree Mission, which functions under the Local Self-Government Department of the Government of Kerala.
Key Activities:
Neighborhood Group (NHG) Savings Schemes: Fostering a savings habit among women and providing access to micro-loans.
Self-Employment Ventures: Organizing activities such as agriculture, small-scale production units, Kudumbashree 'Janakeeya Hotels' (community kitchens), and marketing fairs.
Social Welfare Schemes: Implementing initiatives like 'Ashraya' (Destitute-free Kerala), 'Balasabhas' (children's forums), and gender resource activities.
