Annual Budget 2026-27

This budget of ₹35.22 crore is based on three pillars:

1. Debt-free Panchayat
Where we took a loan of ₹9.05 crore last year, this year we are not borrowing a single rupee. Our goal is to govern without burdening our future generations with debt.

2. Welfare first
Our mothers and fathers, widows and differently-abled people should get what they deserve on time. Therefore, the old age pension has been increased to ₹6.96 crore, widow pension to ₹3.48 crore and women's security to ₹3 crore. Keeping the trust of the state government, this panchayat is committed to providing pension to every beneficiary without any hindrance.

3. Moving forward with caution
Revenue receipts increased by 79.5% to ₹20.08 crore. We can save ₹11.03 crore by cutting expenses at the end of the year. This is not to be squandered. ₹6.89 crore has been set aside for the immediate needs of our country and future development projects. Honorable members, roads and buildings are important. But when there is a person lying hungry, when there is a mother who is suffering from lack of pension, their tears should be shed first. That is the politics of this budget.
